I had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the high-quality food and the cozy atmosphere. The comfy lounge and beautiful garden made it easy to relax after a long day. Just a heads up, the twin room I was in had a slight smell from the radiator, but it didn't ruin my overall experience. 😊

The pub had a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The pillows were a bit hard, which may not suit everyone.

Just a top selection for a fleeting moment in Edmondbyers with very good value for money. The beds were high enough we could push our luggage underneath. Consider arranging the furniture for extra comfort.

what a gem of a find! the staff were super friendly n went above and beyond for me. the food was amazin, room was so comfy, and the place had a really cozy vibe. loved how dog friendly it was, saw a cute springer spaniel around too. would totally recommend this place!
only small complaint was the shower was a bit weird, went from hot to cold sometimes. also, could use more kitchen utensils if ur planning to cook.

Spotlessly clean with a welcoming atmosphere, this place offers a fantastic dining experience. The marinated fish was a highlight, well-prepared and delicious. The two-bedroom apartment we occupied was incredibly comfortable, with superb decor and ample space for our family. the service was a bit slow during peak hours, and there were occasional delays in food preparation. Despite this, the beautiful countryside setting makes it a desirable location for a relaxing getaway.

Great place! We were doing an organised run at the nearby reservoir, and this place was just up the road. Really lovely pub with fabulous food and friendly, helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable too, and it was so peaceful at night. On Sunday, we enjoyed their delicious Sunday lunch!
